Summer Fair & Verzare Workshop, 9 July 2021

The fair will bring together producers from Rășinari, Sebeșu de Jos and the surrounding areas, with products that are specific to the localities they come from. Local women from Rășinari will tell you the story of the verzare, traditional Pentecost pies made with cheese and dill, and you will be invited to take part in their preparation. The new exhibition circuit will bring aspects from the lives of the two communities closer to you, by means of the latest multimedia technologies.

Tour for Specialists, 9 July 2021

Specialists from several museums from Romania will be part of a tour of the new exhibition circuit - ASTAR VR. This meeting is a good opportunity for discussing the issue of the use of multimedia technology in museums.
Beeswax Candle Making Workshop, 24 July 2021

Beeswax candle making is a craft that is still practiced in Sebeșu de Jos. You are invited to discover both traditional and modern candle making techniques and to interact with skillful local people. In the homestead brought to the museum from the same locality, you can also interact with VR characters, who will tell you more about some particulars of the mentioned community.
