Spring Fair & Re-enactment of the Ascension Custom, 13 June 2021

On this occasion, we will learn more about lovage, its properties and how it is used during some customs that are specific to the Ascension Day in the village of Rășinari, through re-enactments in the museum.

In the evening before the Ascension Day, women bring lovage to the wayside crosses and to the tomb crosses of their family members, where they also light candles.
